PRESENTATION: Fundamental Problems of U.S. Intelligence and Strategy in Post-9/11 Afghanistan—November 28, 4:30 p.m., EKU Crabbe Library 108, Allen Auditorium

After 9/11, how did the U.S. intelligence community and the National Security Council understand the attacks, define the enemy and craft a strategy? How and why did the insurgency emerge? Was the U.S. shift to a counterinsurgency strategy effective?

Dr. Robert Farley from the University of Kentucky (UK) Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce will provide an upcoming guest lecture on “Careers in International Relations.” The guest lecture will take place on Monday, November 14 at 2:00 PM in Stratton 300.
