An Asian Occasion event to showcase new Asian Studies Program

Students can see what all the new Asian Studies Program has to offer by attending An Asian Occasion Thursday, April 30, in and outside Powell.

The event it hosted by Eastern's Asian Studies Program and the Department of Languages, Cultures, and Humanities.

Events Celebrate Launch of Asian Studies Program

A day-long conference, cultural extravaganza and film screening April 24 - May 7 will celebrate the recent launch of an Asian Studies Program at Eastern Kentucky University.

All three events are free and open to the public, and no advance registration is necessary.

Join us to explore the wonders of Asia as we celebrate the new Asian Studies Program at EKU!

The event will feature:

  • ASIAN READ-IN at Powell Corner from 3 p.m. till 5 p.m.
  • CULTURE FAIR in Middle Powell from 5 p.m. till 7 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to attend and participate!
